2025 HOOK HALF MARATHON + 10K + KIDS FUN RUN
Another great day of races put together by Rockland Road Runners! On Saturday, April 19th many enjoyed a beautiful day at Rockland Lake racing and cheering. Thanks to Rockland Road Runners for including us.
SENIOR BOOT CAMP 2025
March 27th was one of our most fun events of the year, Senior Boot Camp! Troops from our five Senior Activity Centers rallied at Dominican University and spent time with vendors, competed in activities and enjoyed lunch and entertainment. Can’t wait for next year!
BIG WHEELS DELIVER MEALS – THANKSGIVING 2024
Every Thanksgiving morning we have something we refer to as “Big Wheels, Deliver Meals”. Before our community leaders, have their meal with their family, they show up at Meals on Wheels to deliver Thanksgiving meals to homebound Rockland Seniors. St. Thomas Aquinas Professor, Elaine Winship, teaches a class on content creation for PR Marketing and works every year with a non-profit. This fall it was Meals on Wheels Rockland. GRAND OPENING: HAVERSTRAW SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER
We had our grand opening of our fifth Senior Activity Center on October 30, 2024. It’s located in Haverstraw. We’re excited for all the good times and new friendships that will be made there. The talented Stan Schwarz generously took these pictures of the event.

2024 ROCKLAND ROAD RUNNERS HOOK MOUNTAIN HALF MARATHON + 10K + KIDS FUN RUN
Sunday, June 16th was a breathtaking day, perfect for the Rockland Road Runners Hook Mountain Half Marathon, 10k and Kids Fun Run. The race benefited both Meals on Wheels Rockland and Achilles International.
