Sunday, June 11th was the Annual Bill Fortune Memorial 10k Run & 5k Run/Walk.  It was a beautiful day to be at Rockland Lake.  Thank you to all you came out and walked, ran, cheered or volunteered.  Rockland Road Runners has been an incredible supporter and friend for years, we are grateful for their partnership!

Friday, June 2nd, we had our annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic.  It was a great time at the Haverstraw Elks.  There should be a picnic everyday to celebrate the dedication and big hearts of all our volunteers.

On Sunday, May 7th, we had a delightful fundraising event in honor of the Mothers we love.  It was a wonderful afternoon, thanks to Kim Hendricks, who had the vision and plan to honor mothers with a Tea.  We are so thankful to our sponsors, Addus HomeCare and Marie Scasserra.  Check out the Mom, Me…

We celebrated March For Meals, the month that commemorates The Older Americans Act, with a Senior Walk.  It was such a great time for our Rockland Seniors.  Thank you to the community leaders who joined and inspired and to Dominican University’s Track & Field team who led the walkers in stretches.  

Our three senior centers have been having a blast in December getting ready for and celebrating the holidays.  They danced the day away at our all-center holiday party.  They made cards for troops, ornaments and snowpeople.  Happy Holidays!
